My name is Nannette Lucero and I wish to be known. I want the commissions office to hear our court recording he did not let me cross examine Mrs Frost that rolled her eyes at me when I went to ask her a question? and didn't answer what I had asked her because the judge got upset. I would love to pay the state beck out of my hard earned money that I worked so many years for because Eric Weiss wasted states money to fly this women out I will cut the state A CHECK THAT WAS WASTED TO GET THIS WOMEN OUT HERE TO TELL THE JUDGE THAT I COULD OFFICE HELP, AND PAPER PRESS I HAVE WORKED SO MANY YEARS UNTIL I BECAME SICK. THANKS FOR LISTENING I WILL SEND STATE SENATE OFFICE A COPY OF ALL MY PAPERWORK I GUESS I NEED TO BE PUT TO DEALTH BEFORE I GET SOME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK BECAUSE I CANNOT WORK ANYMORE . I HAVE TRIED AND THE WORST IS MY MEMORY AND MY PAINS THROUGH MY HEAD AND IF THE JUDGE READ UP ON MY ILLNESS LCH HE WOULD KNOW YOU CANNOT SEE lch THROUGH CT SCANS WITHOUT CONTRAST and I am allergic to contrast I need special testing that my insurance wont cover. Let alone a doctor that even knows what I have or how to treat my illness.no doctors in Albuquerque know what LCH is? do you? I hope I live to let the world know how unfair this judge was. this is nothing to laugh about he was very unfair I even went to the states doctor and she diogionesed me with depressive disorder and anxiety disorder, and the judges answer was its being taken care OF THROUGH MY MEDICATIONS, AND MY BONES ARENT DETERIATING OFF MY BODY SO I HAVE TO BE DYING TO GET ABY OF MY MONEY BACK WELL GUESS WHAT I AM GOING TO LIVE,iF I GET IN TROUBLE FOR TELLING YOU HOW I FEEL THEN I GUESS THE JUDGE CAN PRESS CHARGES ON MNE FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH.

I understand that this could be taken as "this person got turned down and is upset". I am indeed upset, but it is because I was turned down for completely false reasons. So beware of this Judge. She will use anything she can against you. I thought my rep and I had everything in order. My T's crossed and I's dotted. I was wrong! This judge acted as if my PCP's RFC paperwork didn't exist because one minor thing was not in my medical history. My PCP supports the fact that I am disabled. I also have two other doctors that stated I had MDI's that met the SSA guidelines for disability. She uses things in your medical report that are autofill parts from specialists. Like my wrist Ortho's ROS form that I now know he doesn't fill out except for the reason HE is seeing you. That being my wrist. So he didn't fill out that I have fibromyalgia, severe headaches, back pain, weakness, etc. And that was used against me in the decision letter. Even though it was never asked about at the hearing. This judge seems to discriminate based on your age and medical condition(Still a lot of judges that refuse to see the conditions I have as real). Even though my MDI's are listed in the SSA guidelines she chose to not consider them. There are so many errors in her decision letter that my rep said it will take a while to list them all. So I guess that's a good thing. Problem is that I have been trying to get the disability I deserve for 4 1/2 years now. My family and I are financially ruined. The appeals council will take 14-18 more months per my rep and then if Federal suit is needed, another year or more. My family will be on the streets by then. The SSA system drains everything you have worked hard for in your life and drags the process out over way too many years. Just to be turned down by someone who doesn't follow guidelines and makes wild assumptions with no facts.

I am writing this review on Eric Weiss, He was my judge for a case I had on April 11th. Weather he approves me or not he was very fair in my hearing, if I said something that I was not suppose to say he corrected me in a very nice way, that meant a lot to me, he did not make me feel uncomfortable in any way, and I had no attorney, so I feel if a person goes to trial and speaks the truth then there is no reason to be scared or worried, if a person Is denied it is for a good reason, he is experienced in what he does. Just be HONEST and everything will go just fine weather you are approved, or denied, and if you feel like you are denied for a good reason then appeal your case.. Thank you very much Eric Weiss for your honesty and professionalism I wish to be left unknown

Judge: Lillian Richter
3/9/2016 9:50:14 AM

My hearing was extremely difficult due to the nature of the information I had to share. My attorney seemed pleased with the way the hearing went, but honestly, I was too busy crying to pay attention to that. Judge Richter was polite and very gracious as she ended the hearing. Apparently it can take months to find out the disposition of the hearing (not sure why--wouldn't it be better to make a decision when the facts are still new and clear in your head?). In all, I was pleased with the judge and hope that she makes the right decision in my case.

Judge: James A Burke

Judge: Raul C Pardo

Pardo was very bias against me. Both in the video hearing and the final ruling that he gave. He misused information and only cherry picked words to fit what he wanted to say. He dismissed everything that MY doctors wrote and they had wrote plenty. He ONLY went by what the SSA doctor that they sent me to ONE time. He was outright unfair towards me. I have paid into the system for 25 plus years. Its not like I have never worked a day in my life.

My husband just went to court with Judge Gutierrez. I am very unhappy with the outcome. Mr. Gutierrez (Judge) denied my husband on a questionnaire that we filled out 4 years ago. We were honest on the questionnaire as of today my husband cannot do what he did back then. Letters from all his Doctors say that. If we didn't deserve back pay that is fine but my husband should have never been denied completely. We are so close to loosing our home we can't even put a full meal on the table for dinner. I work 2 jobs just to try to make it. My husband can't work. I am so upset with this outcome, I can't believe this happened.

I have nothing good to say about judge Reyes, my wife tried to get disability he was the judge he barely gave her the time of day he turned her away so fast it wasn't even funny, as a matter of fact he had a cut her hearing short because the person behind her who could not speak English her interpreter had an emergency so he had to get to her as soon as possible. How does a woman who can't even speak English get this far for getting disability. Judge Reyes should be ashamed of himself for not giving my wife the proper time needed! My wife still cannot work to this day she still has all the same problems that she's had for the last 4 years and now since she can't work we are financially strapped. Mater of fact we are at the emergency room right now.

Judge: W. Thomas Bundy

These comments are interesting. A few people actually like him and think he does a good job (the winners). Then there are the "worst judge ever" and "biased and judgmental" (the losers). I have appeared before Judge Bundy several times. I haven't always won, but I usually do. My take on him is that if the claimant is deserving, and his representative does a good job of representing him and is prepared for the hearing, he will award benefits. He doesn't always get it right, but who does? All in all - if you are a SS disability client - don't go to a hearing unrepresented. If you do get representation, get referrals from lawyers or other people who have been through the process. If you find a competent SS representative and you truly fit the SS definition of disabled, you will get a fair hearing from this judge, in my experience.

My wife had a hearing she denied me to be present during the hearing for absolutely no reason even my wife's attorney stated he had never seen this before. She discriminated against me from my occupation. Very sad a judge can be this petty.

The Honorable Judge Dawson is a very fair and compassionate judge, taking time to research rare or lesser known disorders that may not be on the Social Security Administration's list of approved disabilities in order to hand down a fair and informed judgement.

After suffering a mva and sustaining a TBI, the judge took all my evidence lightly, and denied my claim. This was even after my attorney asked the V.E. questions and she agreed that I would not be able to do the work. Poor judge, but makes him look good by saving money denying claims.

Don't expect this judge to believe a bunch of wind and BS. Better have the facts. Intense scrutiny and professional standards are the norm in this judge's chambers. I wish that all who qualify will receive, but make sure you have your witnesses and your facts straight if you want to be recognized as disabled. I respect this judge, and I also acknowledge that her job is not easy.

Judge: Claudi L Rosen-Underwood

I have been seeing my doctors for over 15 years. One of my doctors sent in 4 letters explaining my condition and how it renders me "totally disabled". My other doctor sent in 2 letters saying that in his opinion I am "totally disabled". SSA sent me to 3 of their doctors and all 3 of them said I am "totally disabled". There's 34 medical exihibits in my SS file containing almost 900 pages of medical reports. 8 months after my hearing, I get a decision denying my case! In the decision, this so-called judge actually states that she did not give much, if any, weight to the letters from my doctors because she did not understand what the term "totally disabled" means! I've asked 7 of my grandson's friends if they know what "totally disabled" means and all 7 of them knew exactly what it means and they are all only in the forth grade. It is absurd that a well educated so-called disability judge who is probably being paid over $100,000 per year with tax payer dollars, doesn't know what "totally disabled" means. I don't even know how such a thing is possible. She also said that I didn't have any muscle atrophy but she never got closer than 15 feet to me and as far as I know she isn't a doctor so how could she say I don't have muscle atrophy? That woman doesn't know what totally disabled means but yet she can diagnose whether a person has muscle atrophy without ever examining me or seeing my body. My lawyer appealed my case but he told me that it would take the appeals court over a year to decide my appeal and, get this, if the appeals court agrees with my appeal, they are going to send my case back to the same judge and instruct her to hold another hearing and issue a new decision! Why would they send my case back to the same judge who doesn't even know what the term "totally disabled" means? My lawyer said that even after the appeals court sends my case back to the same judge that it will take this judge another year or more to hold another hearing. So, if my appeal is successful, I will have to wait more than two more years before I have another hearing and then when I do, I will have to go back in front of this same stupid woman so she can just deny my case again. This is so absurd that I cannot even believe it is happening for real. It's like something out of a weird movie or something. SSA is a rip off. I wish I had done like so many and just worked under the table. That my health and well being as well as my life in general is in the hands of such blatant incompetence and stupidity is for me, a death sentence. My own government is spending hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to deny me from simply getting back my own money that I paid into SSA for the past 34 years is nothing short of a crime, especially when the person deciding my case has already admitted in writing that she doesn't understand a term that any 4th grader comprehends fully. What's really scary is that I am only one of millions of Americans who are subjected to this kind of inexcusable incompetence from our own government, a government we are paying for. The judge is no better than me. Her income comes from the same place my benefits would come from - the US taxpayer. Except, I paid for my benefits - it's my own money for God's sake!

I applied for Social Security Disability September 2011, I worked 32 years. I have had Epilepsy since age 11. My epilepsy consist of Grand and petite Mal seizures, i have rheumatoid arthritis for the last 8 years in my spine and my hips. and i was diagnosed with spinal stenosis back in April of this year 2013 i have been taking epidural shots and I'm in a scooter wheel chair. My disability hearing was August 5th, 2013 location Social security administration building in Phoenix, AZ decision was decided October the 1st 2013. My case was finally closed December 24th, 2013. My case was denied by Claudia Rosen-Underwood. During my hearing the judge asked a Vocational rehab specialist can Tammy work 9 different jobs-each time the Vocation rehab Specialist said I was not able to work, and my Neurologist said I was no longer able to work and my family doctor said I was not able to work both doctors sent social security and my lawyer letters stating I'm no longer able to work. Claudia Rosen-Underwood stated in my social security denial letter she questioned both of my Doctors credibility! ..and she questioned my fathers, who is 78, credibility and said me and my Husband were Lying about my epilepsy and me of lying about me having a Stroke in 2005..and Doctor Shaw) sent me to have a. Cat Scan and MRI both test show Siezure Activity, Even though My Past Doctors and present Doctors have sent all my past medical records to show everything is 100% true

Judge: Myriam C Fernandez Rice
12/27/2013 6:16:16 PM

This judge made a terrible mistake in judging me incorrectly. She had numerous errors throughout the lengthy denial letter I received, regarding her supposed review of my medical records. She claimed I didn't have proof of several diagnosis' in my records when there was clear cut proof in these records. My third party who was supposed to testify at my hearing was not allowed to do so, and She made allegations in her letter about me that are downright descriminatory and false. She didn't ask me about several things during the hearing but then made statements in her letter accusing me of things she never gave me a chance to confirm or deny. She claims I am still able to work despite the fact I have become so ill that I can't keep up with my own personal hygiene let alone work. I haven't even been able to keep most of my appointments with several of my specialists because I have been too sick to drive myself to them. I have several diagnosis' on the adult list of disabling conditions, and I hope she sees this and knows that she was cruel and wrong about me, and my life has been completely destroyed because of her. I will most likely have to live on the street soon because she denied me benefits I have desperately needed. God help you if you have to have this judge in charge of your hearing. She is irresponsible and descriminatory and shouldn't be allowed to judge with her own personal opinions on a person. She is mean and will destroy your character if she doesn't like the look of you. That is what happened to me. She will destroy your life if she doesn't like you. This judge ruined my life that was already in the toilet from years of suffering from a rare illness.

Well judge, you are also highly educated, next time you need healthcare, do your own medical care. That in essence is what you are saying, if educated in one field, we know all. You followed the letter of the law, but not the spirit. You are not the kind of judge I want in public service, but then, you are not there to be of service are you. I will pray for you...

After having to deal with the particular ALJ twice now, I can confirm what most of the posters here have said. This man's action border on the criminal and hopefully someone within SSA will see this and conduct an investigation into Mr.Bundys actions. He does not accept what a claimant's Doctor's say nor does he consider any MRI reports as credible either. I wish there was a way to have this man removed and banned from ever serving in a legal position again. And Mr. Bundy, IF you happen to read this, you know how to contact me if you want to address my grievance. But be forewarned, I do have a few choice words for you that I will refrain from publicly posting. And if anyone else out there has had bad dealings with Judge Bundy, please post and maybe enough of us can get SSA's attention and get Mr.Bundy put to pasture where he belongs.

I'm an attorney who only practices Social Security disability law, and who routinely appears before judges from seven different ODARs (Portland, Eugene, Tacoma, Seattle, Spokane, Boise and Las Vegas - a total of 67 ALJs), and on occasion at virtually every ODAR across the country. I have seen it all, from wack-job judges who are truly insane -- pity anyone from Moreno Valley, CA or Billings, MT -- to judges on some sort of an agenda to deny (or approve!) as many people as possible. I can say without hesitation that Chief Judge Rolph is one of the most courteous, professional, thoughtful and genuinely compassionate judges that I have encountered. This is NOT the same thing as a high allowance rate. He only pays about 50/50, which means that he is denying a lot of cases who probably should be approved. However, I truly believe you get a fair shot with him. While he may not approve every claim, my experience is that he treats every claimant with respect as a human being. As bad as it is to have your claim denied, it is incredible how many judges insist on belittling people and treating them like crap. Judge Rolph never does this. The only time I have ever seen him lose patience, and even then it was slight, was when a claimant insisted on lying to him (and me) about current drug and alcohol use, was deceitful and very dishonest. Anyone who does that deserves a lot worse. Bottom line: I would love to win every one of my cases, but I would be more than happy if every one of my clients were assigned to Judge Rolph.

Horrible judge in my opinion, she sat on my mother’s case for 2 years and after all the submissions of medical history and my mother unable to work she still said no and denied her disability. Two years to make a decision are you kidding me? People don’t get any better with time, they deteriorate even more when you don’t have the proper medical attention so with all do respect do your job and please don’t sit on cases for that long. If you are going to deny them or approve them it shouldn’t take years ….literally to make a decision.

I truly understand Judge Pardo way of looking at the disabled and the not disabled..He try's very hard to distinguise between the two...Although, He was tough with me...I do understand, the logic, that He must pursue...Put yourself in their place...Judges should be honored and admired for their job! It truly must be something that keeps them up at night, and it has to take a Great deal of discernment...I can not believe I am writing this, but that is how I feel, after my Court date yesterday...I do understand!

The states from this ALJ match up with how he conducts his hearings which are a joke. He will close hearings without allowing cross examination of the vocational expert and doesn't pay much attention to testimoy.

Judge Perkins sits on cases until the last minute before denying them and this is a well known fact and she needs to be investigated.
