She has all the attributes of an excellent judge: prudence, compassion and knowledge. Meeting her was an absolute pleasure, a person who I will always remember.

Extremely discriminatory against invisible diseases. Actually had the nerve to say he "didn't believe" my specialist/surgeon OR psychiatrist, even though there was medical documentation, X-rays, scans, etc, to back up my diagnoses. Very rude, sarcastic, condescending. Stared at computer screen entire time & would not even look me in eyes. Also obviously didn't look at all of my medical documentation, because a lot of his reasons for denial, were simply untrue; and he would have known that had he actually looked at all of my records. Left me feeling like just a lazy loser or something. Shame on him for his treatment of those coming in & completely at his mercy, for dishing out denial after denial without thorough review and/or education on the disabilities in question and for his complete lack of empathy for those of us hurting and already embarrassed to have to be at a court's mercy in the first place!

Any Rep out there had this ALJ? Can you provide some input, how he conducts hearing, opening statements, etc. Thanks.

Really nice ALJ. I represented client who was disabled and the medical evidence supported it. Judge Meyer realized that and did not muddy up the water and accepted evidence at face value. He awarded claim at hearing.

I don't know the decision on my case. This Judge seems nice. I really have no idea what to expect. I do know I am tired and I am tired of seeing doctors and going around and around. this processs is long and sometimes it makes you tired, because they don't always listen. My therapist

She misstated evidence, misrepresented testimony, ignored evidence, excluded specific conditions and made numerous factual errors. If you appear in front of this judge, your claim is going to be denied.

Thoughtful judge. Did not make me feel rushed and listened to what I had to say. I do not know the outcome for my hearing but at least I felt like Judge Howard listened and considered my situation.

although he denied my case originally, I found him to be fair and honest. He is a very good listener and well prepared for the meeting and very informative. I had a second appeal with him a few days ago and found him to be the same, great listener and very respectful..waiting on his decision..

I was just denied by Judge Williams. He took account from my Tri-County rep, Which never talked to my family. It was my family that told me to seek help, because I was so angry at the world. Then because I have slight COPD and he noticed a pack of cigarettes in my pocket but never said anything about my electronic cigarette that was next to my real cigarettes. and he states that because I can drive I am not disabled, but It is hard for me to drive very far. I only put 50,000 miles on my truck in 4 years. I wish someone would listen to my 90 year old grandma or my aunt who wanted me to get help. Then maybe Tri - County would think twice about saying I am Malingering.

My husband just went to court with Judge Gutierrez. I am very unhappy with the outcome. Mr. Gutierrez (Judge) denied my husband on a questionnaire that we filled out 4 years ago. We were honest on the questionnaire as of today my husband cannot do what he did back then. Letters from all his Doctors say that. If we didn't deserve back pay that is fine but my husband should have never been denied completely. We are so close to loosing our home we can't even put a full meal on the table for dinner. I work 2 jobs just to try to make it. My husband can't work. I am so upset with this outcome, I can't believe this happened.

I just received my denial letter, I saw Judge Patricia Henry, every paragraph was lies, she twisted and contorted my records and testimony to fit her denial. She basically committed perjury! She contradicts herself in different paragraphs in regards to my disabilities and abilities, she needs to get off the bench STAT! I will be filing all sorts of complaints and even taking this to our legislature. We presented her with evidence, she twisted factual evidence to being non-existent! If you get this judge, kiss your case good-bye!

In my lowest time, i prayed. Judge Burdett was so kind and non judgmental. I'm grateful to his honor and understanding. I lost everything but my life, thanks be to God. I'm homeless without my own. They say you get back what you put in. Amen

This judge is one of the fairest and most knowledgeable you're likely to come across. He actually reads the record too, which is unfortunately not something that can be said of the all the rest.

Judge Burdette was very courteous and respectful. The District Court Judges in Harris County could take some lessons from this Judge. As an attorney, it is refreshing to be in front of a Judge like Burdette.

I agree with one other commenter - this judge is a total idiot!!! She needs to be admitted to a mental health unit and that's no lie!!!!

This judge is fair and is unintimidating. He allows the claimant to fully outline his argument. I don't put much stock in these percentages; being prepared is the key. It makes the job of everyone concerned much easier.

I had my hearing this week. I was late because of heavy rain. This judge waited for me. I was nervous at first but not at the end. He knew the record and was polite. Had two experts by telephone. This guy let me stand for part of the hearing because of back pain. My attorney said he is one of the better judges and knows the law. Don't know how he will rule.

Judge: Daniel E Whitney

How can his awards be shown for 2013 and today is only 1/7/13 my hearing date unless the decisions are already made before we get in court, Judge whitney is a hard judge to figure out and beware of the VE they must be trained to say that everyone can be a surveillanc monitor tech, this is the job they say you can do when they can't find anything else for you to do,in reality This job does not exist!

Make sure you are very prepared and fully review every aspect of the record before going before this ALJ. Also make sure you have a brief/memo prepared for him to review prior to the hearing.

Judge: Daniel E Whitney

Very unprofessional and biased. Sarcastic, rude, and used ridiculous reasoning to deny me. He actually holds it against you and says it's proof you're not disabled if you manage to get yourself to a specialist. He could care less about the rules or ethics. Pray you don't get this guy.
