This judge seemed very nice. He seemed to really “get,” what I deal with on a daily basis. My representative felt the same way I did. I’m not sure what his decision will be, but I’m hopeful.

The only conclusion I can come to is that The Honorable Shilling is trying either run for office soon, or take over the VA administration. He denied me recently on the grounds that I can work while: not being able to operate a motor vehicle; must walk with a cane due to knee, foot, and back issues; I have anxiety disorders which include PTSD, Agoraphobia, ADHD, Bipolar, and Manic Depression. Yes, I believe he will do just fine in either position he chooses. Those people don't care about us either. Amazing that he is one of the highest paid judges in the nation for Social Security. Now I know why he is.

Ive gotten nothing but the run around on a court date. Was first told they will schedule you for april but heard nothing then when calling back they said August. Called back after a month of no court date and now telling me as soon as they get a court date they will schedule me.very unprofessional.

I wish he knew how hard it is to live with depression and chronic diseases.

I recently had an appeal with Judge Shilling, he spoken to me with compassion and hearthfelt for my suffering which seem genuine. This being the first for me and never seeing what a Disability Judge asked. Truth be told, the guy was hard to read, not even my representative could read him. He also doesn't seem to care to much for representative's in general. He wants to hear it from the horse's month per se.
